For those who are not aware, about eight months ago we accepted the missionary calling to be directors of el Instituto de Movilización Misionera in Matachi, Mexico. This is a school in Mexico that trains and equips Latin Americans to be missionaries around the world. Over the last few months we have been raising support and preparing ourselves for the two-year commitment that we have made with Hillside Missions Organization, the parent organization that oversees the school, which is located in Richmond, VA.
We have certainly seen the Lord provide over the past few months. We nearly have all the funds needed to cover our living expenses while in Matachi and we are confident that God will lead others to give the remaining amount that is needed. The following graph provides a view of where we stand on our fundraising.

For those who have made pledges and/or have already given donations we cannot begin to tell you how much you are appreciated. Without those funds, this simply would not be possible. If you haven't made a pledge and God is leading you to do so, then it is never to late to start giving. Pledges can be made by contacting Yurihn Keating of Hillside and letting her know of the amount our your monthly pledge. If you attend New Life Baptist Church, then contact Roger Zimmernam with your pledged amount.
While we haven't officially set a date for our departure to Mexico, it looks like we will be able to leave sometime within the first two weeks of August. Therefore, we are asking that monthly donations begin in July to help cover traveling expenses and other stuff needed before we are able to leave for Mexico. For those at New Life, this will mean giving the donations to Roger or through the church office. For everyone else, you can begin making monthly donations online by using Hillsides catalog. For those who would prefer to send a check, then make the check out to Hillside Missions Organization (write "for the Stouders" in the memo) and they will see to it that we receive the funds. Hi, its Joel Contreras, Im from Matachi but im living in Hidalgo del Parral Chihuahua and working with Aleesa in the school of our church. I just wanna welcome you, i hope everything is great. Be welcome again, be a light in the town. I respect you for you decision and i hope to meet you soon.
