Current Needs

We have been asked by several people to share some of our current needs here at the school.  We are grateful for the interest in what is happening here and the willingness of people to help out.  It has been a blessing to see how God has provided for the school during our time here.  Now that we have been here long enough to assess the needs of the school, we would like to share them with anyone interested.

First, the school needs financial support.  We have recently relocate the school to the city of Chihuahua so that we can have better access to churches, teachers, and other resources.  Unfortunately, relocating mean higher rent and utility costs.  If God is leading you to give, then there are two simple ways in which you could give donations.  For those who attend our home church (New Life Baptist in Greencastle, IN) or who live in that area, donations can be made at our church (make the checks out to “New Life Baptist” but write “For the Stouders” on the memo line).  For everyone else, you can support us and the school through Hillside’s online catalog (http://catalog.reachthenations.org/?p=4).

If you are looking for a relatively easy way to support the school, we have three suggestions.  The first would be to organize a “care package” to have sent to the school.  If you need some ideas, just let us know. The second suggestion would be to encourage families or Sunday School groups to “adopt-a-student” by sending encouraging words and personalized care packages.  In return, we will make sure that they keep them informed of their progress at the school.  The final suggestion would be to organize a "book drive."  We have listed below some of the books and videos that we would could use for the school's library and for the student's own personal library.  Also, don't forget to check out our "M1 for Mexico" page
